Chris is currently employed as Development Worker of the German development aid agency GIZ in Guatemala. From 2015 to 2020, he supported the local chapter of Transparency International, “Acción Ciudadana”, to implement a Business Integrity Program. As a Compliance and Integrity expert, he has extensive experience in consulting public and private organizations. Most of his recent projects are focusing on collective action anticorruption initiatives. He co-created the “Guatemalan Global Compact Network” and the “Business Integrity and Compliance Network RICE”. Moreover, he is the initiator of the first Compliance Master’s Program in Central America, which he helped develop and implement as a lecturer. He was part of the Transparency International delegation at the “High-Level Political Forum of the United Nations” in 2019 and he has been a speaker at international events. Prior to his assignment to Guatemala, he was a Compliance Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a Virtual Professor at the UNDP Virtual School.

Chris is a founding member of PTF Europe and he serves as advisor to the “International Economic Justice League”. Another volunteering commitment is the “Lionhearted Project” where he has supported the exchange of Ghanaian and German boxers and school children.

He holds master’s degrees in Cultural Studies and in Business Administration, both from the Passau University. He was a visiting student at the Cracow University of Economics and the International Anti-Corruption Academy in Laxenburg (Austria).
