EXPERTISE: agricultural extension and project work

Franz Schorosch joined the World Bank as a young professional in 1975. He worked in different parts of the organization and on different countries and continents and was posted to field assignments in Bolivia, Senegal and Ivory coast. The last 10 years of his time at the World Bank he was dedicated to managing projects designed to improve agricultural extension, research, training and farmer organizations. In 1998 he took early retirement and continued working as an independent consultant for rural development and project ex-post analyses for the WB, FAO, consulting firms and national governments.
